Personal Injury - MRI scan of human lumbar spine with doctorJackson Law International’s Personal Injury Law Division will help you when you suffer serious injuries due to someone else’s fault.   Some of those injuries may have occurred while you were travelling for business or pleasure in another country.  Importantly, not only are our international attorneys experienced in such cases, our attorneys also have significant experience in seeking justice in cases involving wrongful death.

What is the meaning of the word “International” in this law firm’s name?

Most of this law firm’s cases have an international aspect attached to it.  Our clients are either often from abroad and are seeking an attorney for injuries sustained in the United States.  Most of our clients come from the German-speaking countries of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Alternatively, we also represent a significant number of clients from the U.S. who require an attorney in Germany where we have three offices or in another jurisdiction abroad through one of our countless international contacts in the international legal community.

What is Personal Injury Law?

Personal injury law involves claims where physical or psychological injury has resulted from the negligence or wrongdoing of another person, company, governmental entity, or other form of legal entity.  Such cases depend upon establishing a link between the actions of that third party causing your injuries.  Moreover, we must prove damages, which can be both economic and non-economic in nature.

Why does it matter hiring an attorney experienced in personal injury law?

Keep in mind that being represented by an experienced attorney can cause you to avoid mistakes that might affect the value of your legal claim or which might cause it to be barred entirely.  The person or entity causing your injuries will most certainly have experienced legal counsel to defend them, and it will not be their goal to look out for your best interests.  Instead, their goal will be to minimize your recovery.  Thus, it is important, if you believe you may have a claim, for you to seek legal advice as quickly as possible after your injuries occurred in order to preserve evidence and to allow your attorney to be able to pursue all applicable remedies. Jackson Law International welcomes the opportunity to discuss your claim with you in confidence, so that you can determine your rights.

At Jackson Law International we also recognize that these types of cases weigh heavily on the injured and their families.  In particular, we realize the emotional toll that these cases take on everyone.  We are prepared to provide you with the comfort of knowing that you have someone dependable on your side to look out for your interests.
