Jackson Law International is pleased to announce that MIchael R. Jackson has been appointed to serve as First Vice-President of the Asociación Europea de Abogados (“AEA”). Notably, the AEA is is the world’s largest network of international law firms. Moreover, this organization has a strict process for the selection of its membership of international law firms. The intention behind this selection process is to offer to the public legal services that are based upon a uniform quality of standard and unimpeachable ethical standards among its membership.
Jackson Law International’s Global Roots
The founding of Jackson Law International dates back to 2003. The firm’s extensive international law practice spans across the Atlantic through its representation of primarily German-speaking individuals and companies headquartered in Europe. In fact, MIchael R. Jackson is a native German speaker, who has represented hundreds of German individuals and companies in legal matters throughout the United States.
Apopintment as First Vice-President
Recognizing the international scope of this firm’s practice and the commitment of one of its members to the practice of international law, the AEA honored this law firm by appointing Michael R. Jackson as First Vice-President to AEA’s Advisory Board. The President of the Advisory Board is Pedro Beltrán, an attorney in Spain, who created the AEA in 2004.
Global Reach of the AEA
Jackson Law International is honored that one of its own has been appointed to the position of First Vice-President of the AEA. Worth noting is that the AEA established itself initially in the European Union. Therefore, it too has strong roots in Europe. However, in time the organization has expanded globally. Notably, such appointment is on behalf of 760 legal offices world-wide, comprising circa 5,000 individual members. The AEA is the only network of attorneys that covers each and every one of the world’s 196 independent countries.
